Our experience ranges from corporate finance and private lending to security sales, security issuance, and mergers and acquisition advisory services. We have worked for large global institutions and smaller niche firms that served private clients and entrepreneurs.
Arthur Bingham
CEO and Chief Credit Officer
With more than 30 years of experience, Arthur has been active in both corporate and family finance. As CEO of New York Private Finance, Arthur oversees all aspects of the business. Prior to co-founding NYPF, Arthur was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Boxwood Strategic Advisors, an advisory firm to wealthy families and entrepreneurs. Prior to Boxwood, Arthur served as Managing Director and Head of the Enterprise Software practice at Kaufman Bros., a specialized investment bank focused on communications technology. Prior to Kaufman Bros., Arthur worked in the Latin American M&A group of ING Barings. Arthur began his career at Nomura Securities International in the corporate finance group working on M&A, IPOs, high-yield bond issuance and leveraged corporate lending. Arthur is a graduate of Columbia University and earned his MBA from Northeastern University. He lives in Park City, Utah, with his wife and enjoys adventure that the Western US has to offer.
Brian Bristol
Managing Director
Brian has been an investment banker to entrepreneurs for over 30 years, with a primary focus on business development and client service. He has extensive experience in raising all types of growth capital including equity and debt, as well as in advising on merger & acquisition transactions. Prior to co-founding NYPF, Brian was a co-founder and Managing Partner for Boxwood Strategic Advisors, an advisory firm to wealthy families and entrepreneurs. Brian began his investment banking career at Smith Barney, with subsequent stints at both First Boston and Salomon Brothers, working primarily with technology companies. After Salomon Brothers, Brian established the investment banking business at SoundView Technology Group. Subsequently, Brian led the investment banking business of WR Hambrecht + Co, where he focused on the firm’s proprietary, Dutch auction products. Brian earned his B.A. at Yale University, his M.A. and Ph.D. at Princeton University and an M.B.A. at Columbia Graduate School of Business.
David Marcus
Managing Director
David has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, both as a banker – raising equity and debt capital for public and private companies – and as an entrepreneur. David began his career in the treasury of French oil company, Elf Aquitaine, working on debt issuance and currency swaps. After Elf, David spent 10 years in Equity Sales at Bankers Trust, ING Barings and Lehman Brothers where he covered family offices and hedge funds. David briefly left banking to start WorldSreet, a fintech company that streamlined the workflow between banks and asset managers. The company was acquired by Thomson Reuters. After the sale of WorldStreet, David joined WR Hambrecht + Co. as Managing Director and Co-Head of Capital Markets. Following Hambrecht, David joined E*TRADE Financial as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. David earned his B.A. in Political Science at Boston University. He is based in Palo Alto, California.
Andrew Randall
Managing Director
Andrew E. Randall, Managing Director, has more than 40 years of experience in international, middle market and private client finance. Prior to Emigrant, Mr. Randall worked at Bank of America, US Bank, and Tri State Capital Bank. As a senior client engagement officer, his responsibilities include business development and pre-qualifying of structured loans for New York Private Finance. He also shares a dual role in developing financial solutions to family offices and private clients at Cleveland Private Trust. Mr. Randall lives in Cleveland, OH with his wife and family.
Andre Deazle
Vice President
Andre is integral to NYPF’s ongoing operations and joined NYPF soon after its founding. His responsibilities include managing and monitoring NYPF’s portfolio of loans, creating and managing required reporting documents and analyses, assisting with client management, and managing the team’s compliance with banking industry regulations. Andre began his career as a financial services professional working at several firms including JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, and Valuation Research. Andre’s roles have been varied and include work as an investment banking analyst, debt capital markets analyst, equity research associate and a valuation professional. Andre received his B.A in History from Yale University and his M.B.A from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
Jordan Turock
Senior Associate
Jordan has a background in commercial lending, credit risk, and credit underwriting across many different asset classes and collateral structures. As a Senior Associate with New York Private Finance, he drives the underwriting process from beginning to end, covering due diligence, credit analysis, memo construction, and loan documentation. Prior to joining NYPF, Jordan was involved in credit underwriting within an eCommerce technology start up for approximately 2 years, providing credit to operators purchasing and selling on the online marketplace. Prior to that, Jordan worked for Capital One Commercial Lending, starting in their leadership program where he learned about underwriting, portfolio management, credit policy, and leveraged lending. At the conclusion of the leadership program, Jordan joined the Special Assets Group dealing with distressed commercial loans and coming up with strategies to mitigate the default risk of the bank’s most troubled borrowers. Jordan earned his BSBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and currently lives in New York, New York.
Leigh Hoagland
Senior Advisor
With over 35 years of banking experience, Leigh focused on structuring innovative financings for individuals, corporate and institutional clients, in the US and globally. Prior to co-founding NYPF, Leigh was a co-founder, Managing Partner and Chief Credit Officer of Boxwood Strategic Advisors, an advisory firm to wealthy families and entrepreneurs. Prior to Boxwood, Leigh served as Managing Director and Head of Deutsche Bank’s (“DB”) US private bank lending business and a member of the Executive Management Committee of DB’s US Private Wealth Management division. He was Chairman of Deutsche Bank Private Clients Corporation and a board member of Deutsche Bank Trust Company. Leigh is a graduate of Princeton University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
